Nominate Your Treasure Island Favorites for SFGATE’s Best of the Bay 2026

SFGATE’s Best of the Bay nominations are officially open, and now’s the time to celebrate the businesses and places that make Treasure Island one of San Francisco’s most exciting waterfront destinations. 

From skyline-view dining and craft cocktails to outdoor recreation with the most scenic backdrop in the city, some of the Bay Area’s most memorable experiences are right here on the Island. If you have a favorite Treasure Island spot, this is your chance to help it earn recognition across the region.

Browse the categories, nominate the places you keep coming back to, and write in any favorites that aren’t yet listed. 

Nominations close Tuesday, March 17 at 11:59PM, and you can nominate once a day, every day during this round.

Mersea Restaurant & Bar 

One of the best places in San Francisco to watch the sun slip behind the Golden Gate Bridge, Mersea pairs waterfront views with seafood, cocktails, and a laid-back outdoor atmosphere. Built from repurposed shipping containers, the casual restaurant and bar draws locals and visitors alike for sunset dinners and drinks on the Island.
